About the event
The beginners course is spread over 4 consecutive Saturdays from 12:00 till 14:00 starting on the 17th of January and finishing on the 7th of February. The course objective is to teach you about target archery and how to shoot a recurve bow. If you successfully complete the course you will be certified to become a member of AGB (Archery Great Britain) which provides you with insurance covering you to shoot at Greasley Castle Archers and other clubs around the country.
Joining a club then allows you to progress your archery skills with the aid of our club coaches and members.
The cost of the beginners course is £60 for adults and £40 for juniors (<18). To secure your spot we ask for a £10 deposit (non-refundable) followed by the remainder two weeks before the start of the course. If for some reason the course is cancelled by us then…
