About the event
The beginners course is spread over 3 consecutive Saturdays from the 19th of September to the 3rd of October. The first two sessions will be at our outdoor venue 11:00 - 14:00 with the third Saturday being at our indoor venue 12:00 - 14:00.
The course objective is to teach you about target archery and how to shoot a recurve bow. If you successfully complete the course you will be certified to become a member of AGB (Archery Great Britain) which provides you with insurance covering you to shoot at Greasley Castle Archers and other clubs around the country. Joining a club then allows you to progress your archery skills with the aid of our club coaches and members.
The cost of the beginners course is £65 for adults and £45 for juniors (<18). Courses are limited to 15 people so to secure your spot we ask for a £1…
